Final Travel Advice –

Bhubaneswar is one of those destinations where history and modern city life exist side by side. You can spend the morning exploring ancient Kalinga temples, have a traditional Odia lunch, visit the Jain caves in the afternoon and plan a sunset outing in the evening.

For a first visit, I recommend at least two full days in Bhubaneswar. Add another day if you want to explore Konark comfortably, or make Bhubaneswar the starting point of a larger Bhubaneswar–Puri–Konark Odisha itinerary.

For the most comfortable sightseeing experience, plan your trip between November and March, stay in Old Town or the central Bapuji Nagar/Master Canteen area, and arrange a cab if you want to cover multiple attractions in a single day.
